DAIWA 23 SEABORG400J is a lightweight and compact electric reel designed to provide power and speed for comfortable fishing.

It weighs 585g, which is 240g lighter than the SEABORG500JP, making it suitable for fishing that was traditionally done with a larger 500 size reel but with the convenience and handling of a 300 size reel.

The reel incorporates advanced technologies to enhance performance and functionality. It features a one-hand comfortable operation JOG power lever made of aluminum, allowing delicate operation even with wet fingers. The MAGMAX motor provides torque and instantaneous power equivalent to a 500 size reel, with a JAFS standard hoisting force of 14kg and maximum drag force of 16kg through the ATD (automatic drag system).
