North Carolina Bluefin Fishing
For more than 14 years the staff and crew at CM Tackle have been making the 6 Hour journey South each Febuary and March for Bluefin fishing. We have been doing it long enough to experience different "years" of fish ranging from manageable #100 and #200 to massive beasts in the #400 to #600 range that are enough to test any tackle, stand-up, Popping or Jigging. Many find the Winters in the Outter Banks or OBX as the tourist stickers say, to be the nicest time of the year in that area. On land temperatures range from 50 to 60 degrees during the day and drop to the 40 and 50's at night -requiring a light jacket. We are fishing the warm waters of the Gulf stream so its not uncommon to fish in T Shirts - although North Carolina weather is known to be highly unpredictable and often unforgiving. Unfortunately the weather can and does turn on a dime and ultimate it is the Master Captain's decision whether we go or not.

Sur les températures terrestres varient de 50 à 60 degrés pendant la journée et chute à 40 et 50 la nuit nécessitant une veste légère. Nous pêchons les eaux chaudes du Gulf Stream si ce n'est pas rare de pêcher dans T-Shirts - bien que la Caroline du Nord météo est connu pour être très imprévisible et souvent impitoyable. Malheureusement, le temps peut et ne tourner sur un dix et ultime c'est la décision du Maître capitaine si nous allons ou non.
CM Secures optimium lodging in your choice of the condos at World Famous Pirate's Cove Marina, or the more spacious houses at the Golf Club Community. Either way lodging is provided as is round trip transportation EWR to OBX. Daily transfer from Condo/House to Boat. Good resturant is available or you can cook in ample luxury kitchens in condo or houses.
