This series has just been improved with the use of advanced technologies by Shimano. In addition to the HAGANE body, the Grappler has a X-ship structure and micromodule gears calling for a more stable and smooth cranking experience even under high loads. Moreover, the 70mm round knob is made of the CI4+ material, making it strong yet light. With a line capacity of 250m of PE 3.0 line and a gear ratio of 6.2, this reel is not limited to light jigging and jigging. Slow jigging has also been made possible with the Grappler.
Fantastic reel for light/slow jigging, coming in a 11.5 ounces / 325 Grams - pair it with a Palmarius 66-0,1 or 2 and you have a powerful combo that weights less than a pound!
With its 6.2:1 gears it will retrieve 84 inches of line per rotation of the handle.
You can expect it to hold over 400 Meters of PE 1.7 #30 Test Braided line of a good quality.
